PEAK STEEL PERFORMANCE
WINDOWS

Every Rusco window is custom built to your opening, not pulled off a shelf to fit close enough. Whether you're replacing a single drafty window or refitting the whole house, our vinyl windows are engineered for real Canadian winters: thermally welded corners, multi-chamber insulation, and glass built to keep the heat where you want it.

WHY RUSCO WINDOWS?
- Thermally welded corners on every PVC window for a tighter, more durable seal than mechanically fastened frames
- Triple weather stripping on the sash for air and water tightness in any climate
- Corro-guard coated hardware, built to resist corrosion over time
- Double Pilkington Hard Coat Low-E Argon glass available across the line, with a Super Spacer option for maximum efficiency and UV protection
- Removable fibreglass interior screens in an enamelled aluminum frame
- Part of one connected product family (Casements, Awnings, Sliders, Hung, and picture windows) that all share the same exterior look, so mixed installations still look intentional
Installation
A Rusco representative visits your home at a time that works for you to measure every opening you want replaced, and you get a price on the spot based on the opening size, any frame or sill repair needed, and the product you choose. Once you place your order, one of our professional installers takes a second measurement before your windows are built, to guarantee an exact fit. On installation day, our team removes the old windows and installs your new ones, start to finish.
Understanding window performance
Windows can account for up to 25% of a home's heat loss, so performance isn't just a style question. Rusco windows are built around a few core technologies:
Low-E glass reflects long-wave radiation: it keeps furnace heat inside in winter and blocks unwanted solar heat in summer, while cutting UV damage to flooring and furnishings.
Argon gas fill between panes reduces heat transfer compared to plain air, at no added maintenance.
U-value and R-value: the lower a window's U-value, the higher its insulating R-value. A typical double-glazed window runs around R-2; triple glazing adds a second air space for roughly R-3.
Windows are rated in Canada under CSA-A440 for air tightness, water tightness, and wind resistance, plus an Efficiency Rating (ER) that combines solar heat gain, heat loss, and air leakage into a single comparable number.
Installation quality matters as much as the window itself, even a high-ER window underperforms if it isn't properly fitted and sealed, which is why every Rusco installation includes a second, pre-build measurement by a professional installer (see Installation, below).
