The Rusco Model 4300 is the workhorse of the window screen line: a welded-corner, roll-formed steel frame carrying marine-grade stainless mesh, tested and certified to ANSI SMA 6001-2002 medium performance. Built to your opening, not off a shelf.
- Frame and mullions: .024" G90 hot-dipped galvanized steel, roll-formed lock seam, tubular construction, corners brazed
- Screen cloth: 304H alloy .028" diameter stainless wire, 12" x 12" mesh, minimum 800 lb tensile strength per linear inch
- Wire mesh held with a minimum 1/2" 90-degree bend on all four sides, secured by 16 gauge galvanized roll-formed steel retainer angle and Rusco tamper-proof screws, 4" on center
- 16 gauge galvanized steel installation angles
- Sub-frame, top-hinge, side-hinge, or center-hinge mounting; fixed or operable configurations
- Operable/egress models: .050" continuous 304 stainless steel piano hinge with stainless steel barrel bolts on both sides
- Tamper-proof steel installation screws requiring a special tool for removal, available on request
- Chemically pre-treated steel finished with electrostatically applied polyester powder paint, baked 20 minutes at 350°F; standard colour range, custom colours available
- Tested and certified to ANSI SMA 6001-2002, medium performance rating (lab test data available on request)
- 1-year manufacturer's warranty against defects in material and workmanship
